Such was the quality of submission the compromise solution for this exhibition has been a closer hanging than would normally be seen. But it has been a well-judged decision. Once again, ceramics and sculpture make a strong presence. Here, the value of the outdoor courtyard space has come into its own.
Long-serving member of the Penwith Society and equally long-serving member of the Plymouth Society, Vincent Wilson exhibits in the Studio Gallery. This solo show anticipates what is to be a bigger exhibition of work from the Plymouth Society, scheduled for September and to be mounted in the New Gallery. It will run in conjunction with The Penwith Society’s autumn show.
